Evaluation of compliance with local minimum standards is reported annually to the Sustainability Development Board, which is made up of line of business representatives. Novozymes actively supports employees’ safety and promotes healthy lifestyles. In 2009, Novozymes has initiated a health campaign for its Chinese employees. With strong support from local labor unions, the company is offering its employees a series of offers to improve their physical and mental health. Novozymes China is currently consolidating health reports in order to provide inputs for the 2010 health promotion campaign.
